Embodied Yoga or Somatic Yoga is a gentle and mindful practice designed to release tension, improve body awareness, and restore balance. This type of yoga is particularly beneficial to those who want to practice yoga in a more present, conscious way and just want to feel relaxed and calm and also to those who are experiencing stress, burnout, anxiety and depression.
We start the session by filling out a mood tracker to help you be more aware of your emotions and if you notice a shift in mood throughout the session, we then work through a sequence of asanas (yoga postures), and pranayama (breath work), and at the end we fill out the second part of the mood tracker to help you notice if there were any shifts in mood throughout the session.
This is a 60 minutes class.
